COMPUTER MONITOR HAVING WEB TERMINAL FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A computer monitor having a web terminal function is provided to use monitor for a web terminal or a computer by controlling a connection of the monitor in accordance with a need of a user and a given condition. CONSTITUTION: A monitor signal processing unit(11) receives a video signal from a computer, transmits the video signal for displaying the video signal through a display unit(14), or temporarily stores and displays the video signal on the display unit(14) at a requested time. The monitor signal processing unit(11) checks the inputted video signal and converts the transmitted video signal into a signal capable of being sensed by the display unit(14). A user uses the Internet through a web terminal(12) having a memory and a microprocessor. In the case that the user requests a service through the web terminal(12) or a predetermined condition is satisfied, the web terminal(12) is operated and supplies web information requested by the user. A signal connection unit(13) selects one signal out of transmission signals of the monitor signal processing unit(11) or the web terminal(12) in accordance with a given condition or a user input and transmits the signal to the display unit(14). The display unit(14) displays the video signal received from the signal connection unit(13) for a user.
