<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support cost-effective and efficient medical inspection by renting medical instruments requested from a hospital, relating to a medical instrument rental system renting medical instruments for a fee to medical facilities. <P>SOLUTION: The medical instrument rental system comprises a plurality of hospitals 2 and a medical instrument rental center 3 operated by a renter who contracted with the hospitals 2 for the rental of medical instruments. The hospitals 2 are connected to the medical instrument rental center 3 by a communication line 4. The medical instrument rental center 3 ships at the designated date and time the endoscope apparatus stocked in a stock room and desired by a hospital.
