Shoe mould holder in injection moulding machine - with thin heat insulating plate between mould and revolving head

Shoe mould holder is provided in an injection moulding machine for shoes, with a stationary frame on which is mounted a reciprocating carriage bearing a revolving head to which the shoe moulds are attached. A shoe sole mould is mounted stationarily directly beneath one of the shoe moulds. A thin heat-insulating plate is mounted between each shoe mould and the revolving head. The altter contains a coolant passage connected to a cooling system which is mounted on the stationary frame or another component. The arrangement prevents impairment of the quality of lubricant and of the lifting mechanisms on the side of the frame, due to thermal expansion.
