<p>The profile (7), preferably manufactured in aluminium, has two branches (8, 9) connected by a transverse wall (10). One end of each branch has a hooked edge (19) (28) which fits over the flange (3) of the greenhouse framework (1) and the branches are made to grip the flange securely by screws or bolts (30) which tighten the two branches together. The other end of each branch has a bearing edge (11) (21) for the second row of glazing (12) and also an abutting surface (13) (23). The bearing edges have grooves (34, 35) for a joint and a channel (36, 37) is also provided between the bearing edge and abutting surface which can be sealed with mastic for improving the sealing of the glazing.</p> |
