A rotary table (1) mounted on a work surface (2) facilitates operations on devices used in the telecommunications field by presenting five tangentially disposed component magazines (12). As required the table is rotated by the operator to bring a selected magazine to a work station (5). A magazine loading station (10) is mounted on the work surface (2) adjacent the work station (5). The table is automatically located in successive working positions by a mechanism (34).
