Above a line (4) lying obliquely and close above the centre of vision (3), the glasses are to be made of a dark, but transparent, material. The dark section may extend horizontally across the top of the glasses (from where the oblique line 4 cuts the vertical through the centre of vision 3). The glasses may be set in spectacle frames, or clip on to spectacle frames, or the dark section may be incorporated into spectacle lenses.
