The roller shutter belt is fastened at one end on the pulley on shaft. The other end of belt is held on the belt drum and the belt is threaded through a separating wall between the pulley and drum. The deflector has a guide (14) held in a hole (13) in the partition wall (1). The guide has a slot (19) over its whole length for guiding the belt (12). The outside edges (20) used for deflecting the belt (12) are curved in the direction of the belt movement. The longitudinal axis of the hole in the partition wall is inclined against the outside or inside surface of this partition wall.
