<p>A blood-pressure measuring apparatus has a microphone in the inflatable cuff: a pneumatic hose with electric leads attached or embedded joins the cuff to the rest of the apparatus. A plug (117) and socket is provided, connecting the pneumatic as well as the electric leads, so that the equipment can be dismantled for transport or storage. Several versions of the apparatus may be used. In every case, a hollow central pneumatic connector is surrounded by three insulated electric connectors. A fourth electric connector is provided either by a metal pneumatic connector doing double duty, or by a metal outer cover.</p> |
