<p>Hydraulic hand shears have two virtually central rotatable shear arms, with cutting edges on the front parts. On the rear parts, thre are inner pressure surfaces for engagement with a hydraulic piston activating a spreading device. There is also a spring device which guides the rear parts of the arms and the spreader back to the starting position. The spreader comprises a slide carriage (2) coupled to a hydraulic piston (1). On the carriage (2) two pressure rollers (3, 4) are rotatably located adjacent to each other crossways. When the carriage (2) moves he rollers roll on the pressure surfaces of the arm (5, 6) rear parts. The spring device connecting the arm (5, 6) rear parts is a draw spring (11) suspended on projecting pins (9, 10) at a distance from the rotatable location of the arm (5, 6) rear parts.</p> |
