<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver system for providing a TV telephone system. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 for acquiring a video and a sound transmits the acquired video and sound to an external apparatus via a connected communication card 3. The digital camera 1 is connected to a liquid crystal TV 2 including: a display part for outputting the image and sound acquired via a tuner; and speakers 24, 24. Then the video and sound received from an external part are transferred to the liquid crystal TV 2 via the communication card 3.
