The connector is used for making a reliable contact with the ends of the windings of the stator of an electrical machine, especially a universal motor, in which supports of insulated material are fixed in front of the stator stampings packet. On the side of the supports facing away from the stator, contacts are provided projecting axially. The ends of the winding wires are connected to the projecting contacts, preferably by a clamped connection. The contacts may be in the form of pins over which a sleeve is clamped to secure the wire end.
