<p>The machine (10) is used for driving in fencing posts in fields and parks. A leaf spring on a support structure is mounted so as to swivel between its two ends. At the front end it is swivel-hinged to a striker plate (46) for knocking posts in. The rear end is attached with a swivelling motion allowed, to an intermediate member. The other end of this member, pref. a telescopic rod with a compression spring between its movable parts, is swivel connected to a motor-driven crank pin. There may be a setscrew and nut at the bottom end, to adjust the rods length.</p> |
