The indicating element moves along a plane scale and has a bellows (2) filled with a pressure medium. The bellows is connected to the indicating element through a flexible pulling element one end of which rolls on a guiding surface connected to a driving lever. It is tensioned by a spring against the pull of the bellows. The driving lever (13) is connected to a rotatable roller (19) on which one end of the indicating element (21) in the form of a strip is wound. Its other end is wound on a second roller (22) provided with the tensioning spring (24). The strip (21) passes under a scale (8) which has graduated markings (26).
