<p>The electronic safety equipment is particularly for cranes with telescopic and/or derricking jibs, having detectors for the various loads and other parameters such as jib length and angle, radius, slewing angle, etc. The signal resulting is compared with the one representing the maximum load for the particular combination of conditions, and a stop signal is emitted as necessary. The equipment is of modular construction, each module having a particular function, and being built up on identical printed circuit boards. The necessary electronic components are added for complex functions. All plates are combined into a central unit which can be adapted to suit any crane.</p> |
