The exhaust gas driven turbine (1) drives two rotary compressors (3, 4). The one compressor provides compressed air to super charge the internal combustion engine and the second compressor output after passing through a heat exchanger (5) is used for the air conditioning installation (7). Alternatively, the exhaust gas turbine can turn a single rotary compressor. One part of the compressor output can be used to super charge the engine and the second part, after cooling, used for the air conditioner. The exhaust gas turbine may also turn a compressor for super charging purposes and a compression expansion engine.
