<p>1495842 Reinforced gypsum composition TAISEI KENETSU KK 21 May 1975 [21 May 1974] 21949/75 Heading C1H A reinforced gypsum article is produced by hydraulically setting anhydrous or hemihydrous gypsum, ettringite reinforcing members and, if necessary, fibres and/or light weight aggregate. The reinforcing members may be steel (e.g. in the form of bars) or aluminium. Fibres may include carbon fibres, aluminous fibres, glass fibres, polyamide fibres, polyester fibres, polyacrylic fibres, polyalkylene fibres or rayon fibres. Light-weight aggregates may include lapilli, volcanic ash, lapilli or volcanic ash coated with cement slurry, expanded shale, clay, perlite or coal ash. The starting mixture may also include hardening retarders, e.g. potassium citrate, citric acid, and calcium 2-keto gluconate, and dispersants.</p> |
