1495626 Turbine blade GES FUER KERNFORSCHUNG mbH 25 March 1975 [26 March 1974] 12323/75 Heading B3A [Also in Division F1] A turbine comprises a core 1 of a high heatresistant metal alloy and a high heat-resistant, non-porous corrosion-resistant metal cover 2 fitting thereon and forming a gas-tight metallurgical bond therewith specific alloys being given for the core, and the cover being of uniform thickness rhenium, rhodium, iridium or platinum. As described, a niobium alloy core is encased in a preshaped rhodium foil at 100 Ám. thickness, and welded at 3 where the blade is subjected to little stress in use. The whole is then heat-welded by isostatic hot-pressing at 1400‹ C. at 600 atmosphere for one hour. |
