Suction and thrust spiral is for bubble-free introduction of non-porous, compact tooth root filling paste into a tooth root, using nested or successive spirals or screw thread with opposite hand, with partial right and left hand threads on the working part of the dental tooth root filler. In addition, the new suction/thrust spiral has, in contrast to the previous design only a short right-hand thread and the whole length of the rearward spiral is a suction spiral (left-hand thread). With the prefilled spiral, when introduced, the rearward spiral sucks the 'apical air' from the whole root canal into the pump cavity, and the pase can be introduced where removal occurs under reduced pressure. |
