There are provided benzodioxol-4-yl carbamates of the formula: (I) <IMAGE> where R1 represents H, alkyl or phenyl; R2 represents alkyl; R3 represents H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkanoyl or benzoyl; R4 represents alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl; and R5, R6 and R7, which may be the same or different, each represent H, halogen, or alkyl.
