1514196 Valves VABYMA AB 22 May 1975 [1 July 1974] 22319/75 Heading F2V A device for maintaining a fixed ratio between flow rates to two hydraulic cylinders has pairs of valve members 4a, 5a and 6a, 7a to control flow to or from each cylinder. Each return flow passes via ports 11, 12 through separate flow rate gauges 16, 17 which drive, respectively, an axially fixed worm 28 and a worm 21 attached to the valve members and free to rotate and move axially with them. The worms mesh with worm wheels 27, 22, the shafts of which are geared together by spur wheels, Fig. 2 (not shown). In operation, if the two worms rotate at a speed ratio in accordance with that determined by the spur wheel sizes, then the valve members will remain axially located to give the required flow rate ratio but any discrepancy in their speed produces corrective axial displacement of the valve members.
|
