The device exhibits an electronic up/down counter (1). This is supplied with the pulse repetition rate (I1) corresponding to the consumption and output by the electricity meter (2), on the one hand, and with a reference pulse repetition rate (I2) output by a reference pulse frequency source (4), on the other hand. The up/down counter (1) is incremented by the pulses (I1) coming from the electricity meter (2) and decremented by the pulses (I2) coming from the reference pulse frequency source (4). As soon as one counting capacity is filled up, it is reset to the count zero; at the same time, a following overconsumption counting mechanism (7, 8) is incremented by one step. Exceeding of the overconsumption threshold for a short time does not necessarily lead to a recording process. As a result, an electromechanical overconsumption counting mechanism can be used, the count of which does not get lost even when its supply voltage is lost. <IMAGE> |
