The monostable multivibrator has an inductor as timing element but avoids unwanted triggering caused by damped oscillations. A clamp is connected to the inductor and limits the voltage across it when the base of one of the clamp's transistors receives an actuating signal. This base is coupled to a control circuit which is coupled to an output node of the input circuit and to an output node of a comparator. The control circuit applies the actuating signal to the base when the multivibrator is in its stable state and the trigger signal absent. It terminates the actuating signal when the trigger signal appears or when the multi, is in its a stable state.
|
