The electro-hydraulically operated ball valve is for use on control systems in aircraft. A housing contains elements forming an electro magnetic and a hydraulic group. The electro magnetic group is formed by the solenoid (1) and the hydraulic group is fitted within a housing (2). The housing is designed so that the distance between the openings for the supply (A), control (B) and the distance between opening (B) and outlet (C) is equal to the longitudinal sum of seat (3) and cage (4). The housing (2) contains two equally long seats (3) fitted coaxially with the bush (5).
