Fabric fence for enclosing oil slicks - with pockets for buoyancy and weights to ensure vertical position

The oil slick enclosing fence is used esp. for enclosing contaminating slicks on water surface. The fencing arrangement is made from a fabric consisting alternately of single layer areas and multilayer areas. Between the layers in the multilayer areas are formed pockets or channels enclosed by single layer areas in order to form buoyancy elements for floating and for accommodating weights so that the fence is kept in vertical position in water. The material used have high tensile strength so that the layers cannot be torn apart. The fabric is an impregnated or coated textile fabric consisting of successive single layer areas and areas with >=2 layers. Channels and pockets are formed between the layers. The single layer areas are formed by weaving techniques by interweaving the yarns into the adjacent multilayer areas.
