<p>The screw and nut connection between two overlapping panels comprises a number of screws (12) arranged in a row along the overalp and engaged with a single nut formed by a strip of U-section. The strip has two opposite walls (14a, 14b) between which the screws engage. The screws are pref. self-tapping and cut into the walls of the strip as they are turned, the strip being made of softer material than the screws. The screws may be made of steel while while the strip is made of aluminium.</p> |
