The non-contact ends of the two leaf-spring contact arms that contact the barrel of the plug and the non-contact ends of leaf spring contacts associated with these two contact arms are all held inside a housing made of injection-moulded synthetic resin. All the contacts have contact legs projecting out through the housing for locating in holes in e.g. a circuit board. The jacks may be mounted in pairs connected by connecting surfaces at their non contact ends. The plates can be welded ultrasonically to the jacks, and have holes cooperating with projections on the jacks. |
