<p>A ventilation system for a house employs a standard extraction unit (1) which may be housed in the roof, suspended from the rafters. This is connected to extraction pipes (2, 3) for e.g. bathroom and lavatory, and another pipe (6) over a heater (8) in the kitchen. Also included is another pipe (10) connected to a hood (11) over a cooker (12) in the kitchen. The dscharge line (4) from the extraction unit, also the two lines (6, 10) from the kitchen are all connected to a collector box (5) which has a chimney (9) mounted on top, discharging to the outside, through the roof. A baffle plate ensures that there is no undesirable syphon effect between the heater extraction tube (6) and the cooker extraction conduit (10).</p> |
