The vehicle heater consists of a cylindrical unit containing an electric motor driving a fuel pump, a combustion air fan and a hot air blower. The motor shaft is hollow to carry a rotary fuel evaporator. The combustion chamber is surrounded by an annular chamber to collect the exhaust gases. A housing extends over the entire apparatus, forming an annular chamber through which the air from the fan flows. Inside the combustion chamber and at a distance from the surrounding casing, is a spiral tubed heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is connected to the vehicle water system to enable the engine to reach working temperature as quickly as possible.
