<p>The equipment detachably secures the lining, fixed to a supporting plate, on a mounting for use with a disc brake, there being one or more bosses on mounting or plate engaging with plate or mounting to prevent relative movement in one or more directions. Mounting and plate (4, 8) are bolted together, and the mating face (10) at the bolting position on one or both is a ramp face sloping in the opposite direction to that on the boss (14). This ramp face can be formed on a protrusion (9) of the mounting (8), the protrusion being wedge-shaped, with its point facing away from the mounting.</p> |
