A method for requesting permission to transmit media and a method for controlling a PTP service are provided to solve a problem of the related art that, when a specific PT client transmits data for a long time in a typical PT service based on a session, other PT clients have to be continuously in a waiting state. An idle state message is received from a server before a media transmission non-permission timer is expired. The media transmission non-permission timer is stopped in response to the reception. A message of requesting transmission permission is transmitted to the server if the data to be transmitted exists. The media transmission non-permission timer is a T12 timer or a PoC client retry-after timer. The idle state message is a TBCP talk burst idle message. The message of requesting transmission permission is a TBCP talk burst request message. |
