<p>The process restroes the heat lost from meals packed in metal - partic. aluminium foil during the filling operation, and increases the temp. before despatch in heat-insulated vessels. The packed meals travel sequentially through a heater, which can comprise a tunnel (1) with heat insulation (4), and along whose bottom (5) the packed items slide. The heater unit (2) is mounted under the bottom. The tunnel can be in the form of a double-walled rectangular insulated hood, swinging open by means of a hinge along one side, and the bottom can be formed by parallel grating bars.</p> |
