FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for checking braking properties of vehicles. Proposed device has fixed platform with two similar sections suspended on platform from levers hinge connected with weight sensors, brake force sensor and section. Support and drive rollers and follow up rollers are installed in section. Wheel of road vehicle is fitted on follow up roller. Section is suspended by levers on weight sensors measuring load on axle of road vehicle under testing. Low-power drive electric motor is installed on fixed platform and is connected through clutch with one of flywheels and through long cardan drive, with other flywheel. Drive electric motor is connected through chain drive and short cardan drive with drive roller coupled with support roller through chain drive. ^ EFFECT: improved accuracy of diagnostic parameter of vehicle brake system. ^ 2 dwg
