PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time required for performing a vertex coordinate sorting process by deciding the sorting order to be decided based on the compared results of coordinate values of the vertexes of a triangle which is a polygon by referring to a sorting table. CONSTITUTION:The triangle vortex sorting section of a digital differentiation analyzer (DDA) is constituted of a multiplexer 10, registers 12, 14, 16, 20, 22, 24, and 30, Y-value comparator 18, X-value comparator 26, shift register 28, ROM 32, and counter 34. A sorting table is referred to by comparing signals indicating compared results of vertex values and the sorting order of each vertex is decided at a high speed without making any conditional calculation on the compared results. Therefore, the vertex coordinate sorting process can be performed at a high speed. |
