APPARATUS FOR USE IN THE ANALYSIS OF LIQUID SAMPLES

The specimens to be tested are picked off a matrix pad by a comb shaped device leading to the analyser. The pad is made up with rows and columns of little square layers of porous absorbent materials forming cushions on a support backing. The liquids to be analysed are transferred to the absorbent cushions by capillary tubes. Regular amounts of the liquids will wet the surface of the comb shaped element which are then analysed.
