<p>Tamper detection apparatus in a machine to which articles are fed in succession at a regular time interval, includes means for detecting the condition where the article supply is running out and generating an out of supply signal, and means for determining from the nature of the out of supply signal whether the out of supply condition occured actually or was induced artifically. The apparatus may be used in a copier/duplicator machine to determine whether the out of paper supply condition detected during a copy run is due to an actual condition or a falsely induced one.</p> |
