A plasma display device is provided to improve driving efficiency of the display device by maintaining sufficient wall charge in a discharge cell in a PDP(Plasma Display Panel). A plasma display device includes a PDP(100) and a driving unit(110). The PDP includes first and second electrodes which are located in parallel to each other. The driving unit supplies gradually decreasing ramp-down signal to the first electrode during a reset period for initialization. During an address period after the reset period, the driving unit supplies a scan bias signal to the first electrode. The minimum voltage of the ramp-down signal is equal to or greater than the voltage of the scan bias signal.
