The invention relates to building materials. The proposed invention is aimed at improving seismic stability of building blocks. The inventive aseismic building block (1) is provided with coaxial projections (2) and grooves (3) on the opposite sides thereof which are embodied in the form of a truncated cone, wherein a through hole is arranged along the projection axis, the height of the projection is equal to or greater than 2/3 of the block (1) height and the cone expansion angle ranges from 5 to 30 DEG, wherein the building block (1) is provided with through holes (4) arranged along the projection axis, at least a damping pad made of an elastic plastic material is mounted on the side surface of each projection for damping seismic waves in blocks united into a building structure. In particular, on the side surface of each projection there provided either one pad (7) designed as a truncated pipe equal to at least 2/3 of the projection (2) height or at least two damping rings (5 and 6) spaced from each other. |
