Colloid-forming kit which can be used for medical diagnosis and has two separate containers, one of which contains a freeze-dried tin(II) phytate complex and the other contains a buffered aqueous solution of calcium chloride. The kit is suitable for preparing an injectable aqueous colloid of technetium-99m-calcium phytate for visualising the liver, the spleen and the bone marrow.
