PURPOSE:To measure clearance distribution over outer fringe of the insulator of the cable by measuring the variation on the outer conductor which is caused as clearance is smashed as the cable is enclosed within the pressurizing container and being pressurized in it after contacting a certain portion of the outer conductor to the movable detector section of the pressure-proof outer diameter measurement device.
