Endless inking ribbon packing - has box with closing plate containing ribbon and pressure plate for ribbon ejection

The packing is for an endless inking ribbon cartridge, and comprises a flat box with an open side and a similar shape to the cartridge chamber, so that it fits in this chamber. At the opposite side the box has a closing plate (24) with protruding edges (25) and a pressure opening (26). Slots (27, 28) in opposite sides of the top part of the box accommodate part of the ribbon (1), contained in the box in a folded state. A pressure plate (29) is mounted inside the box, so as to thrust the ribbon out over the whole width uniformly. Packing material secures the pressure plate and ribbon in the box.
