<p>A plate shaped plug-in capacitor assembly consists of an insulating body with two electrodes. The insulating body consists of a pref. ceramic dielectric material on which electrodes are applied. The electrodes completely or partly cover its two main surfaces. A part of the dielectric body (1) is covered by an insulating layer (4). The edge of the insulating layer forms a shoulder (5) on the not coated part (3) of the body (1), so that the outline of the capacitor is trapezoidal.</p> |
