The sheet metal roof, with snow-trap pipes, is designed to be held down firmly in strong winds. There is no danger of the roof flapping up and down or even being torn completely away. The device for holding it down comprises two mutually displaceable components (6), with inclined surfaces (4) sloping opposite ways at the top, for effect is conjunction with snow trap pipes (4) fixed to the roof folds and running across the roof slope. At the bottom ends they have vertical surfaces for support on the sheet metal, and in their parallel middle areas there are aligned or overlapping holes for penetration by a clamping screw (7, 8) or similar fixture. The two components are pref. identical in shape.
|
