PURPOSE:To easily execute a correction, by print-outputting the fact in case when an error has been detected in the course of processing an electronic cash register, so that a person in charge switches a mode to re-registration and performs re-input in accordance with said output. CONSTITUTION:A mode changeover switch of a keyboard 1 is set to registration, a magnetic card of a customer is read by a card reader 8, each department is inputted by a department key of the keyboard, an unit price and a quantity are inputted by a registering key, and a card sale key is depressed. When the operation goes forward normally, a transaction data is displayed 5, is printed 6 and is stored in a magnetic tape CMT 7, but if a CMT error occurs, the printer 6 print-outputs its fact. A person in charge switches the mode to a re-registration mode and performs the input operation again. When he has noticed an error after the customer went back, he performs the re-registering operation by use of a client's number of on a journal receipt. In this way, the error can be corrected easily. |
