An odor interception and rainwater counterflow system is provided to drain water, which flows backwards in flood, naturally by installing lids, which are lifted by water pressure, at outlets of a water pipe. An odor interception and rainwater counterflow system comprises a main body(10), more than one water pipe(20), lids(30), and hinges(40). The main body includes a base(11), drain holes(12), and a flange(13). The drain holes are formed on the base. The main body is mounted on a manhole by mounting the flange on the top of the manhole. The water pipe is fixed to the bottom of the main body, and provided with outlets(21) formed at two sides obliquely. The lids are installed at the outlets of the water pipe to seal bad smell by closing by itself, and opened by pressure of water flowing backwards. The hinges are installed at the outlets to permit rotative movement of the lids. The lids are made of floatable material such as synthetic resin or wood. |
