Picture hook as spacer for wall-mounted pictures - has air holes allowing free air ventilation behind mounted picture

The picture hook comprises a cylindrical portion (a) with air holes (c) which allows the picture to be mounted on but spaced from the wall with a free air flow. This is of particular advantage when mounting certain types of pictures, e.g. lithos, etchings, and the like in hot or damp climates. The hook, which is pref. hat-shaped, is provided with a self-adhesive layer underneath which is covered by a protective foil. The pictures, when attached to the hook, are hung up on the wall by conventional nails.
