Fire protection system based on electric induction - uses current generated by rotating handle to open windows
摘要

The fire protection system consists of a number of generators which can be operated by manually rotating the handle. The generators are placed in convenient positions throughout the building in which the fire protection system is installed. The generators are connected by wires to solenoids which open the windows when energised by the current generated by turning the handle. The solenoids may also actuate a spring loaded cylinder, which opens the domed roof light. By rapid opening of the windows any smoke or heat can escape before a fire is started.
