In order to support a drawer in a cabinet a guide rail (3) is rigidly fixed to the inside wall of the cabinet. The rail has a slot in the vertical plane with a base (10) which forms a track for the roller (15). The guide rail (3) fits in a slot (13) cut in the side of the drawer (3). The roller (15) presses against the upper surface of the slot (13). The drawer has additional support from a second roller (5). When the drawer is pulled in the direction of the arrow (17) the travel of the roller (15) is limited by a slot (12) in the horizontal plane. The spindle (9) of the roller (15) slides in the slot so that the travel of the roller (15) is limited to half the movement of the drawer.
