High current electromedical stimulator - uses pulse generator, insulating transmitters and current calibrators

A high-current electromedical stimulator comprises a pulse generator. There are one or more insulating transmitters each transmitting the pules to a current regulator and output sockets which can be connected by electrode wires to electrodes. Between each of the output sockets and curent regulators is a switch connecting the socket to the current regulator and to an ECG amplifier of which the output controls the switch so as to prevent the pulses from reaching the socket above a given amplitude. The apparatus can be used reliably for operating on unconscious patients, without risk to the patient even in case of faulty operation.
