<p>The mechanism guides cylindrical vessels, being particularly for bottles between a conveyor belt and a rotary table. It has two coaxial star wheels (2, 3) fixed together, which one tooth flank (7) forms a rear stop for the bottles (8), while between these wheels is a central coaxial star wheel (10), whose tooth flank (14) opposite that of the first two forms a front bottle stop. The central wheel can be adjusted for angle in relation to the other two, thus making the mechanism adaptable to bottles of differing sizes. The adjusting mechanism can consist of a screwed spindle working in screwed guides (18, 19) on the upper and central wheels.</p> |
