<p>Non-contact-making record turntable drive of record player has magnetic cushion between record turntable and driver. The record turntable is not driven by means of a friction wheel or belt but with the aid of a magnetic cushion. Thus this drive differs from the conventional friction wheel drive, belt drive and direct drive. The magnetic cushion is produced between the separately supported driver and record turntable by means of permanent magnets. The non-contact-making drive of the record turntable obtains complete decoupling of the drive in relation to the record turntable.</p> |
